Spam sent via an ISPs Mail Server

Some spammers send mail out directly using their ISPs mail servers. This sort of Spam looks a lot like Open Relay Spam, except that the dialup and the relaying server both will belong to the same ISP. Also, the ISPs mail server will not normally be an Open Relay, but will of course relay for the ISPs customers.

Basically, if you have what appears to be Open Relay Spam, but you discover the sending IP and the relay IP both belong to the same ISP, you need only complain to them. If the organization in question is not an ISP, you may have Corporate Spam
