Filter Spam At Your MUA
Most modern E-mail client software (Mail User Agents, or MUAs), include some filtering capabilities. While these aren't particularly useful for blocking Spam, since most information in a Spam is forged and differs in each message, you might be able to filter in the case where you get a lot of Spam that has the same subject line or the same forged From: addresses, that kind of thing. Search for filtering in the Help system for your mail client to learn how to use these features.
