Don't Post to USENET With Your Real E-mail Address

A long-time tactic of spammers is to scan all USENET postings for E-mail addresses. If you participate in USENET discussions, use a munged address, preferably something original, that a human could decipher quickly to communicate with you, but that a robot would not be able to decode.

A counter-argument to this has been made, that address munging is in a sense giving into spammers. See the argument.
