Boycott ISPs Who Knowingly House Spammers or Let Their Customers Run Open Relays

If you start having trouble reaching sites, or sending them E-mail, only to discover that they have blocked your entire ISP for Spam problems, don't get mad at whoever is blocking you. Find out if their accusations are true, and if they are, change ISPs. Tell your ISP you cannot support them since they are contributing to the problem of Spam on the Internet.

If they also happen to be your telephone company or service provider, change providers for those services too (if possible). Make sure your sales rep knows why you are leaving.

You have more power in this position than hundreds of poor Spam recipients who have been complaining to your ISP with no results. Use it.
