Block Web Scrapers From Your Web Server
If you administer your web server, and in particular if you run operate a discussion forum or other type of site where E-mail addresses are displayed, you should do what you can to block spammer's robots from harvesting your E-mail addresses.
If your site runs the Apache Web Server, an excellent guide can be found at this site, explaining how to use the Apache mod_rewrite engine to block probably web scrapers, as well as a list of the User Agents to block.
