Domain Name Services
Skyway West hosts the domain name(s) of all our Internet customers at no extra cost (excluding registration fees). We look after registering the name of your choice or transferring an existing name to our name server. Unlimited DNS edits are included with this service. We will change address and contact information at your request.
The availability of a dotcom (.com, .net, .org) name can be checked at Verisign (www.netsol.com) or you can email Skyway West and ask us to check a name for you.
Check for the availability of a Canadian domain name (.ca, .bc.ca) at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) www.cira.ca.
Both .com and .ca domain names can be registered on line. If you choose to register your domain yourself please contact Skyway West for the correct name server addresses and technical contact data. We do not host domain names for which we are not the technical contact. Registration fees and hosting charges (as a stand alone service) can be found here.
